A Wisconsin Coffee Company You Need To Try!
This post is in partnership with Berres Brothers. All opinions are my own.
One thing I absolutely love is discovering local businesses that make really good, high-quality products. So when Berres Brothers, a Wisconsin-based coffee roaster, reached out to me I couldn’t wait to give them a try!
The first thing I noticed when I opened up the shipping box was the wonderfully-sweet smell. Even my fiancé, who’s not a coffee drinker, mentioned how good it smelled! In the box were their new, fall flavors, all of which are limited editions: Rack Attack, Does Eyes, Sea Salt Toffee Crunch, and Pumpkin Caramel. Needless to say, it didn’t take me long to tear open each bag to test them out!
Rack Attack
With a fun twist on deer season here in Wisconsin, Rack Attack is a classic, non-flavored house blend coffee. I can see this one being my regular, go-to in the morning! Combining two of their other coffees, the De-foginator and the Aurora House Blend, Rack Attack is bold yet super smooth.
Does Eyes
Does Eyes smells absolutely heavenly and tastes just as good. It’s a combination of Highlander Grogg and Southern Pecan Cream and I couldn’t get enough of this one! Another play on Wisconsin deer season, Doe Eyes has a nutty and sweet flavor perfect for those crisp, fall days.
Sea Salt Toffee Crunch
This one might be my favorite! I just love the rich, caramelly flavor with that hint of savory sea salt. It’s luxuriously smooth and sweet and tastes like something I’d get at a coffee shop! I can’t wait to fire up our wood stove this year and sip on this coffee with a good book.
Pumpkin Caramel
Changing leaves, pumpkin patches, apple picking… With autumn right around the corner, this spiced pumpkin and creamy caramel coffee is the epitome of fall! It has just the right amount of flavor and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this one. I can definitely see myself going on an early morning fall walk with this Pumpkin Caramel coffee in hand.
Berres Brothers’ company vision is “to create a vacation from the ordinary” and boy, did they succeed! I’ve always been one to just buy boring, big-brand coffee so these four flavors each tasted so special. I felt like I was treating myself! Across the board, Rack Attack, Does Eyes, Sea Salt Toffee Crunch, and Pumpkin Caramel were all astonishingly smooth and each one had me daydreaming about the upcoming fall season. I’m really looking forward to walking this same road when all the leaves have changed, with a mug of their coffee to keep me warm.
So, if you’re wondering how you can get your hands on some Berres Brothers coffee, you have two options:
First, you can visit their brick-and-mortar cafe & retail store located in Watertown, Wisconsin. Here, they serve specialty coffee drinks and fresh baked goods.
If you’re not in the area, then the second thing you can do is head over to their online store to get a bag of coffee (or ten :)) shipped right to your door. All of their coffee varieties and flavors are available in their online shop and they even offer free shipping for orders over $50 and a $5 flat rate shipping fee for orders under $50.
With over 50 coffees and more than 40 flavor varieties, there’s truly something for everyone whether you like more bold and bright or sweet and delectable. If you aren’t sure which flavor to choose, I have the perfect thing for you! Berres Brothers created their own flavor quiz where you can answer a few multiple choice questions and they’ll send you their recommendations!
I’m also happy to share that you can use promo code: MISSNORTHERNER20 for 20% off your Berres Brothers purchase! It’s the perfect way to shop small and support a local, Wisconsin business while also getting in the fall spirit!
